Translation markup

Hi Joris Darlington Quarshie, before enabling translation for pages please have a look at mw:Help:Extension:Translate/Page translation administration. There it is explained that you should only mark text for translation and exclude syntax from the <translate> tags. Your edit on 2025:Scholarships led to the fact that translators have to copy the whole syntax of the table. –MrBenjo (talk) 12:24, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

As the page is protected and only administrators are able to edit, I cannot fix the syntax. I only can approve changes and enable them for translation. –MrBenjo (talk) 13:05, 21 November 2024 (UTC)

For example Template:Wikimania 2025 header has still issues. Because the page and all pages it is used on are protected TAs are not able to fix these issues. Therefore, it is difficult for admins without translation syntax knowledge to fix all upcoming problems. –MrBenjo (talk) 18:08, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
