Yayasan Wikimedia akan menawarkan biasiswa separa dan penuh untuk Wikimania 2023. Apa yang akan dicakupi dalam biasiswa separa dan penuh akan dihuraikan pada bahagian seterusnya. Anda boleh mengemukakan permohonan biasiswa sehingga penghujung hari Ahad, 5 Februari di mana sahaja anda berada.
Selain itu, pertubuhan gerakan Wikimedia (rakan tempatan, pertubuhan tematik, dan kumpulan pengguna) mungkin menawarkan biasiswa dari pihak mereka sendiri untuk menghadiri Wikimania. Walaupun cadngan ini adalah untuk memperoleh biasiswa daripada Yayasan Wikimedia, pertubuhan gerakan perlu meminta akses ke permohonan biasiswa yang dihantar di sini releven dengan negara atau komuniti mereka, untuk kegunaan memilih dan memberikan biasiswa bebas mereka sendiri.

The Wikimania team knows that our carbon footprint is primarily made up of flights, we would like to reduce that. One way is direct flights as there is significant carbon produced during each take-off.

Assessment question
The following questions are the primary questions from which your application will be assessed.
It's not about writing a good story — some Wikimedians are better at that than others. It's about the links you provide to verify your application. Whether it's dashboards, reports, edit histories, media, or other sources, these will be important.
The other aspect will be your willingness to support Wikimania Expo tables, and which ones. Expo tables will be in the main foyer area and open to everyone including the public. What is needed is recipients to be at these tables for set times of 2 hours each. Participating in a 2 hour shift will be a substitute for written reports after the event, though any insights will also be welcomed.
The Core Organizing Team (COT) regards your practical involvement in Wikimania as the most valuable part of attending. Instead of writing reports after the event, we are looking for you to participate during the event in our Expo space.
What Expo tables can you support? Please include your preferred language in the comments. You will be allocated a 2 hour time block beforehand so you can promote when you‘ll be there.
While affiliates are a very important part of the movement, most affiliates don‘t have the resources or gain very little from having individual spaces; COT has created an affiliate table which will be divided into time slots available for affiliates to share experiences.

Dear applicant,
Thank you for taking the time to apply for a scholarship for Wikimania 2023, which will be hosted in Singapore from 15-19 August, 2023.
The Scholarships Committee for Wikimania will be reviewing all applications according to the eligibility guidance and criteria set out in the application process.
This process will take place once the application deadline has passed. After that all applicants will be notified of their scholarship application outcome in May.
For those that have been successful, we will then be in further contact about booking accommodation and travel for you.
