This is an Accepted submission for the Partnerships space at Wikimania 2019. |
Description
editPartnership frameworks are an important tool for building strong alliances of actors that share values and aim to collectively attain goals. Such frameworks help define goals, roles, mutual responsibilities and ways of working together.
During this session, we will present example of such frameworks. We will draw on the experiences of people involved in United Nations' Digital Public Goods framework, a collective impact process for attaining digital literacy goals in Germany, and the free software ecosystem.
The session will consist of following talks, followed by time for questions and discussion:
A Collective Impact Approach for Digital Literacies (Christian Friedrich, Wikimedia Deutschland)
Digital Public Goods (Christer Gundersen, Global Digital Library)
Free software as a partnership (Tgr)
Sharing Cities Action (Mayo Fuster Morell @Lilaroja Sharing Cities Action by Dimmons IN3 UOC & Barcelona City Council)
The session will be moderated by Nicole Zeuner (WMDE).
