Session title: Create language usage examples with Luthor

Session type: Lightning talk
Track: Technology
Language: en

A quick demonstration of the Luthor tool - https://luthor.toolforge.org -- for easily adding *usage examples* to lexemes on Wikidata.

Description

edit

Luthor allows users to effortlessly browse potential sentences from Wikisource in the selected language, to illustrate the lexeme entry in Wikidata with real-life usage examples. By just clicking at the desired sentence, Luthor adds a fully-sourced usage example to the lexeme.

I will demonstrate the tool briefly in one or two languages.

How does your session relate to the event theme, Collaboration of the Open?

It exemplifies harnessing the power of *three* open projects (Wikisource, Wikidata, and Toolforge) to achieve quality contribution. And it encourages contribution to a relatively under-active field -- lexeme usage examples -- diversifying our language knowledge.

What is the experience level needed for the audience for your session?

Everyone can participate in this session
