Abstract

This documentary is intended to showcase the Theyyam-folk art of North Malabar to the world in its grandeur and authenticity. The script will cover the origin and evolution of theyyam, its contemporary significance, its sociological depiction etc. This will be augmented by real theyyam performance videos.
