Abstract
editThis 2022 year, #WikiForHumanRights doubled in size, including over 600 participants at 45 local events, and filling key knowledge gaps around the climate crises, other environmental issues and human rights. In this panel conversation, we will share what we learned from running the second version of the Earth Day \Right to a Healthy Environment campaign\ and how it can help us think about. We will present first what happened this year, invite several local event organizers to describe their experience working with at the intersection of human rights and environmental issues, and how to iterate the campaign and combine it with a pilot Wikimedia Foundation training later this year focused on what we have learned from the campaign and topic for impact organizing.
Learning Outcomes
editParticipants will:
* Better understand how local communities are engaging with the #WikiForHumanRights Campaign
* Learn more about how the core team for the campaign is learning from and iterating on the \Right to a healthy environment\ topic, and provide input on the iteration
* Get a preview of training opportunities upcoming on Topics for Impact organizing and the Sustainability topic area
