Preliminary floor assignments

I've put in preliminary floor assignments for the different groups, based just on the order they put themselves on the list. Feel free to move and rearrange, as long as you have the permission of the group you are moving; people may want to clump some groups together thematically. Each floor holds four 10-seat tables and ten 6-seat tables, so there is still plenty of extra room on all the floors. Language-specific floors and areas

Several people have requested language-specific sections or floors. I would suggest we can do this for the top 3 or 4 floors. Perhaps Spanish, French and German, plus Arabic or Russian or Chinese? Maybe the languages with the largest participation can have a whole floor, while those with smaller participation can have a part of a floor. Geographical or country-based groups can also clump in a particular language area if they want, or not. Which languages would you like to request?--Pharos (talk) 15:18, 11 August 2021 (UTC)

Table Sign Up

Hi all,

When I click 'edit source' of the Table Sign Up section, it redirected me to a page saying:

Cannot find section
You tried to edit a section that does not exist. It may have been moved or deleted while you were viewing the page.

Return to 2021:Community Village.

No contact, registration closed?

I was asked to help out with the Wikibase table here and agreed to have my name put down for it. However, I had a few other projects to attend to, so I went away to do that and deferred Wikimania stuff I was contacted about it. Since I got no contact via email or on my or user page, I only returned the day before sessions were starting to see what was required. It seems we've been allocated a location, but registration has now closed. Most events I'm used to have registration throughout the event for those dropping in, so I didn't expect this. When one does that, does Remo automatically add the designation to the table name, or does one have to get an individual with privileges to add the name within Remo? --RightCowLeftCoast (talk) 17:18, 14 August 2021 (UTC)
