Abstract edit

The #1lib1ref events organized in Romania with the help of Goethe Institute Bucharest had a different impact than expected. Once people came together, the focus shifted from the number of edits to challenging the existing mindset on information organization and access. Minds and practices formed in a totalitarian regime clashed with the values of the Wikimedia community. We will use this lesson to help inform our plans for Strategy 2030 and best ways to ensure inclusion of silenced voices.
