2019:Poster session/Techstorm is coming

editIn 2018 we organised a Women Techstorm in spring, followed by a Wiki Techstorm in fall. We sought collabaration with our GLAM partners for the 2019 event (coming fall again) and are developing this inspiring, warm, friendly and welcoming event for starters in the coding world, that would like to learn and help out with all the challenges Wikimedia faces when it comes to coding.
This year, there will be three different tracks: Wikidata, Wikimedia Commons and a developer track for apps and tools. Since we aim highly for a good atmosphere, we start of with a social event on Thursday, to get to know each other. Friday and Saturday is the time for workshops and coding and we end with a small showcase: it is important to be proud of what you learned and did, even if it might be a small thing.
Through this poster we'd like to attract more newcomers to our event ànd inspire other chapters to organise similar activities.
