2019:Partnerships/Data Partnership Model: A Model for Partnerships around Wikidata and Wikibase
This is an Accepted submission for the Partnerships space at Wikimania 2019. |
Description
editWhat makes a data partnership different from other kinds of partnerships in the Wikimedia movement? What phases does a data partnership have and what’s the decision process behind it? What types of data partnerships are there, how do we plan a sustainable data partnership project, monitor it and allocate resources to it?
We have compiled our model for data partnerships at Wikimedia Deutschland and would like to share it with you. Anyone who thinks about data partnerships from a data donation to Wikidata to a Wikibase instance at a GLAM partner is welcome to join us.
