Description
editThe integrity of claims made in Wikipedia articles is supported by citations and other references to published material. However much of those references can not be easily accessed via links. Lets fix that problem by ensuring that every referenced resource is a click away.
Here is a brief overview of the Internet Archive in the context of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Relationship to the theme
editThis session will address the conference theme — Wikimedia, Free Knowledge and the Sustainable Development Goals — in the following manner:
If fully implemented this project will help advance the SDG 4 "Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all" and the target 4.7 "By 2030, ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development, including, among others, through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development"
