2019:Hackathon/Navigation
The intention of this page is to help you navigate to all of the spaces that will be used during the hackathon! We are spread out across multiple floors in four buildings. If you can see any way to clarify or improve the information on this page please edit away!
Finding your way
editAll of these directions start with orienting yourself by facing the main registration desk in Aula Magna on the ground floor (also known as the 4th floor).
Hackathon Opening: Main Auditorum of Aula Magna (also known as 14a & 14b Murad and Arnold)
editYou can enter this space through the large double doors directly opposite from the registration desk
Hacking Space 1 / Newcomer zone / Location of the Technical Help Desk, Mentoring Area, Small Wiki Toolkits Focus Area: Juristernas Hus (also known as Montalcini)
editStart from the registration desk. Go out the front doors of the building just next to the registration desk in Aula Magna. Walk to your left up some stone steps and down a short stone path. The first building you see should be Juristernas Hus. It looks like this: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Juristerna_hus_2010a.jpg
Anyone with very newcomer friendly projects are encouraged to use the working space in this building.
Hacking Space 2 / larger working space / GLAM Focus Area / Quiet Area: Rotunda (also known as Allhuset or Yousefzai)
editStart from the registration desk. If you are facing the registration desk turn right and walk down the indoor hallway into the building marked "Allhuset" on the WIkimania map. You will enter into a large common room with tables. On your left should be the entrance to the "Rotunda" room which is a large hacking space.
Juristernas Hus breakout room 1 / also used for the onsite hacking space during the days of Wikimania on Friday - Sunday: Wallenbergssalen (also know as Williams)
Follow the directions to hacking space 1. Enter the building and go up the stairs to your right.
This is a good space for most projects and people working in small groups to find a table and spend their time!
There is also a quiet working room through double doors in the main working area
Aula Magna breakout rooms 2, 3 & 4:
edit2: Named Bergsmannen or Curie,

For all of these rooms, from registration go upstairs three floors by stairs or elevator to the 7th floor. The rooms are all along the hallway on the 7th floor of Aula Magna.
