Description
editBring your images and we will help you upload. Bring a group of images and we will help you mass upload. We will look at image backlogs to work on. And after upload, we will incorporate the images on Wikidata, and Wikipedias.
Adding images is a critical roadblock in collaborating in the sum of all knowledge. We will discuss some of the difficulty, and work with attendees to develop upload skills.
Relationship to the theme
editThis session will address the conference theme — Wikimedia, Free Knowledge and the Sustainable Development Goals — in the following manner: Images are a critical quality factor in the sum of all knowledge. Creative commons and copyright education are important for best practices for creating content online.
Session outcomes
editAt the end of the session, the following will have been achieved: Attendees will understand the image upload process, and assessing copyright.
Attendees will gain some experience in uploading images.
