Description
editA great lot of people in all countries of the world either have a sensory impairment or are otherwise differently abled. The talk will address the issues of people with different types of disabilities, limitations and impairments, as well as dwell upon the ways to integrate the said users into the Wiki environment.
Relationship to the theme
editThis session will address the conference theme — Wikimedia, Free Knowledge and the Sustainable Development Goals — in the following manner: The ways of integrating differently abled users into Wikimedia community and raising awareness about the free knowledge resources among the said users will be discussed. Technologies that can be used to help the differently abled people (esp. those with sensory impairments) integrate will be demonstrated and discussed.
